ISOCOMFORT VIII™

IsoComfort VIII™ by Connor^® Sports is a premium performance hardwood sports flooring system designed for gymnasiums, basketball courts, volleyball courts, recreation centers, fieldhouses, training facilities, and competitive athletic venues that require advanced comfort, consistent resilience, and dependable maple court performance. This system uses octagonal-shaped, patented polypropylene isolation panels to provide individualized isolated comfort and superior multi-athlete resilience across the playing surface.

Engineered for both individual athletes and high-traffic team environments, IsoComfort  VIII™ is built with a two-stage response system. Stage One reacts to light athletic loads or individual players, while Stage Two responds to heavier athletic loads or multiple participants. This helps create a resilient hardwood sports surface that supports comfort, shock absorption, playability, and consistent response during practices, games, training, and multipurpose gymnasium use.

The IsoComfort  VIII™ system includes assembled subfloor panels manufactured from 100% recycled engineered polymer with attached Connor Rezill pads. The system is designed with resilient pad housing to help limit pressure from heavy non-athletic loads, while allowing the subfloor to rest directly on the concrete substrate under significant non-athletic loads. Resilient pads are provided at a minimum rate of 2.5 pads per square foot, supporting the system’s isolated comfort and multi-athlete performance characteristics.

Finished with Connor Laytite Maple, IsoComfort VIII™ features 25/32" x 2-1/4" Northern Hard Maple flooring manufactured by Connor^® Sports in Amasa, Michigan. The system is designed with a 1-3/4" profile height, vapor barrier, Rezill pads, isolated subfloor panels, steel anchorage clips, solid blocking, expansion spacing, vented wall base, threshold details, and optional equipment sleeve details to support a complete hardwood gymnasium flooring installation.
