Project Description: Doherty High School had an existing floating floor system installed over an old synthetic urethane floor. In October of 2018, a water main break flooded the gym and other areas, destroying the maple floor. Additionally, the synthetic flooring was found to contain mercury, which required removal and abatement, and the school of over 2,000 students was without their main gym for 13 months. Ultimately, the entire gym was remodeled with new bleachers, a climbing wall, updated paint and wall graphics, and El Paso Floor installed the new Connor RezillBase RP system with a beautiful paint, stain and graphics package.
