Connor Sports Partners with Tamika Catchings 2016 Legacy Tour

Connor Sports, through its Connor Cares initiative, will continue to expand their relationship with women’s basketball as a partner for the Tamika Catchings Legacy Tour that will commemorate the Indiana Fever legend’s hall-of- fame career and final WNBA season.

As the industry leader in hardwood basketball surfaces in all forms and levels of the game, Connor Sports has committed to a significantly increased focus on supporting women’s sports. The most recent expression of the support is through a multi-year partnership with the Women’s Professional Basketball Alumnae (WPBA). Through the relationship with the WPBA, Connor Sports became aware of the Tamika Catchings Legacy Tour to benefit her Catch The Stars Foundation and immediately recognized the tour as another opportunity to support the growing women’s game.

“I’m honored to have the support of Connor Sports,” Catchings said. “We’ve all seen the growth in women's sports, and Connor Sports' willingness to champion very talented women across all sports is truly appreciated. My final WNBA season is important to me and I want to make a lasting impact through the events of my Legacy Tour in local WNBA communities. I’m grateful to Connor Sports for helping to make this tour a reality.”

“Tamika Catchings and her hall of fame career and off-the- court poise and perseverance is a tremendous example of the spirit that is present in women’s basketball,” said Jon Isaacs, GM for Connor Sports. “The mission of our Connor Cares program is designed to proudly and publicly recognize all aspects of the sport. We can think of no finer ambassador of the game than Tamika Catchings, and it is our pleasure to support the Tamika Catchings Legacy Tour.”
