Project Description: Tom Brown Performance Floors first met with the architects on this project during the design phase more than 6 years ago. Their guidance and expertise paid off this summer when the project was finally installed. After demolition of the existing floor, they discovered the sub-base was out of level by almost ½”. In order to address this challenge, they recommended a switch from the specified PermaFlex II sub-floor to PermaFlex, shimmed the entire sub-floor and still delivered a completed project within the established schedule.
