Project Description: This project at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix is the largest wood floor under one roof in the state of Arizona. The crew from Sun Country Floors installed, sanded, painted, and finished the entire complex in just 41 days. Sun Country partnered with the Connor Sports Technical Team on the complex logistics, maximizing their efficiency and access by separating the floor into two sections with a polished-concrete aisle between them. The college will now have the ability to host their camps for aspiring high-school basketball and volleyball athletes in a world-class athletic facility.
Collegiate Hardwood Court Flooring for Competitive Play
The Grand Canyon University project reflects the level of performance required in collegiate athletic environments. College sports facilities need hardwood courts that can support intense play, frequent use, and a high standard of presentation for athletes, fans, and recruits.
